Pascagoula man charged after allegedly shooting at vehicle
A Pascagoula man was arrested Tuesday charged with shooting at a motor vehicle, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff Mike Byrd said, 20-year-old Daniel James Zei allegedly sent two text messages to a Hurley resident threatening to shoot at him on Monday. The next morning there were two bullet holes on the victim's vehicle.
If convicted, Zei could face up to five years in prison and a $250 fine.
The suspect is currently being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting an initial appearance in county court.
